Linux kernel-dev open book by O’Reilly | Query Composition using Functional Programming Techniques in C# 3.0

Let us raise our hands in the air and sing the huppa-muppa-pappa song to the beloved O’Reilly, the Publisher! Linux Kernel in a Nutshell is available for free download! Props go to Vitor for being the messenger.

Now, for the ones of you that follow blogs.msdn.com, you have probably heard about Eric White, one of the System.Xml guys from Microsoft. He has made available a tutorial on Functional Programming for constructing LINQ queries, and what an incredible tutorial.

Sometimes I wish I could code C# at work.. Oh well, still much to learn about Java and related frameworks and I’ve been quite impressed with it, really.

Speaking about which, I guess I’ve already told you that I’m part of a team that’s developing a component for ASON domain management on the GMPLS context. We’re working with Java EE (EJB’s, stateless beans for client usage), Hibernate and a lot more stuff that’s kinda usual in the Java Enterprise development cycle.

Been pretty much of a gentle ride, some good moments, other embarassing moments, but I believe I’m walking the right path to get on the faster adrenaline-maker rollercoaster.

Gotta go to bed now, boss already knows this link, ehehe😉
